Society has always attached extreme importance to public opinion and knowledge, from the Republic of Plato until nowadays. Still, our time has often been an exchange of rights with the obligation to express an opinion. If we’re for or against, if we’d buy it again or not, we always have to have an opinion. Moreover, we express our opinion without taking time to think about the situation behind or take in onboard the elements that compose the situation.

The frenzy and urgency of having a clear and firm view of everything around us very often mean one key aspect of the opinion is overlooked. There are multiple and changeable. They allow us to act better. They do so almost by chance.

We firmly believe that all should practice taking into account the different facets of truth within two conflicting opinions and to accept that everyone has correct aspects. Therefore, we would like to encourage you to leave your preconceptions and take on different truths in different situations through our digital festival.

Poliopia is the word referred to a vision defect. The etymology of this word derives from the ancient Greek “πολυ”, that means multiples, and “ωψ”, eye. In fact, Poliopia is the ability to have the vision of multiple images of one object, to perceive in various ways an item due to a defect of convergence.

In this online event, you can find a plurality of typologies or artistic performances that explore different situations and truths. You will be free to “compose” their festival if starting with the projections followed by the music and photographic performance or vice-versa.
